This marks a very rare instance where I post something unrelated to basketball. However, this movie was INCREDIBLE. Check it out for free via nobudge. (I promise this isn’t spam and I’m not getting paid to say any of this. I just really enjoyed the movie.)

They won a National Championship as freshmen. They were set to repeat as sophomores before a leg injury altered Kyrie Irving’s season. As juniors, they were bounced from the 2012 NCAA tournament by #15-seed Lehigh.

They have been ranked in the Top 10 for their entire collegiate careers…

I visited a few of the most frequented college basketball sites to see what their top “experts” were saying about Duke’s chances in this year’s tournament.
Scott Gleeson (USA Today) has Duke losing to Kansas in the NCAA Championship and Brad Evans (Yahoo! Sports) picked Duke losing to Creighton in the Round of 32. Everyone else either has the Blue Devils falling to Michigan State in a Sweet 16 showdown or to Louisville in an Elite 8 match-up.
Here’s hoping they’re all wrong.

Hey everybody. My name is Rob. I’m a lifelong Duke fan and I’ll be representing Duke Men’s Basketball on sports.tumblr throughout the 2013 NCAA tournament.

I run a tumblr called the Dunk of the Death, inspired by the English-translated nickname for Vince Carter’s unforgettable leap…

Hey ya’ll. I’m covering Duke Men’s Basketball over at sports.tumblr.com throughout this year’s tournament. Please check out my stuff. I’ve got some good posts lined up.
